One of my most respected colleagues in my fantasy baseball league just did the unthinkable......he traded Alfonso Soriano. When I got the email notifying me of the trade I just winced and wished I had been the one trading for Fonzi.
Year after year I tell this intelligent gentleman that he only needs to make it through a rough April with Soriano and then he will be repaid for his patience with a top fantasy player but....he couldn't wait. That's too bad since this is Soriano's line the last five games:
.526 BA, 10-19, 6 runs, 2 doubles, 3 HR's, 7 RBI's
For some reason I have to believe that if this esteemed doctor would have waited just a little longer then he wouldn't have made the trade.....
