Well, David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez were named as players who failed drug tests in 2003. When will someone take my advice?
The other 102 names - It's time that the 102 names of players who failed drug tests comes out. If I had time I would start my own site called releasethe102.com to build a fan-base and force the names out. I need to know because I need to feel like the game is cleaner now, even if it's not. I need to know because those who cheated need to be held out of the Hall of Fame. I need to know whether the last 15-20 years of baseball were a complete waste of time for me. Feel free to steal that idea or let me know what you think in the comments. I actually feel like Brian would do a great job at this if there were like 32 hours in a day.
This is the only defense a player could have and no one has used it yet:
He (Nomar Garciaparra) also claimed that some players were so in favor of a comprehensive testing program that they allowed their names to be counted as positive tests during the 2003 survey testing in order to raise the number of positive results, thus triggering a full testing program.
It's down to what, 99 names now or something? releasethe99.com? There is still time for a movement amongst the people. Someone pick up the ball and run with it please.
