I will keep this short as the severity of my angst knows no bounds. The Colts stink. After a convincing victory over Baltimore last week, they played miserably this week. They stink. They are a bad team. To highlight my thoughts, I will give out game balls to people who played well and game turds to the people who stunk so bad it made a difference.
Game Balls
Dom Rhodes - Ran hard and played well and if they had been closer or up on the Pack probably would have had 100 yards or more on the ground and maybe a 150 total yards.
Peyton Manning - He is really what is keeping this team afloat. The picks were ugly but at least one wasn't his fault. If this team was a better run blocking team they would be running down on the goal line instead of putting him in a position to throw a pick. If Edge was still here we run that ball.
Linebackers- Clint Sessions is coming along and they really get after the ball. Keiaho, Brackett and Sessions look like a good, tenacious, fast group.
Game Turds
Tim Jennings - He was given a shot to show us something but totally laid and egg. He blew so many plays and drew so many penalties that I think Green Bay should sign his check for this one.
Ron Meeks - Generally not a guy who freaks out and screams for a guys job, I have had enough. The defense was great last year but the year before that and this year have been tremendous disappointments. The backup corners can't cover anyone. The starters are decent but Hayden hasn't been out and Jackson is better with Sanders behind him. Meeks needs a new job. If Brad Childress gets kicked out of Minny and his staff isn't kept around, we should court Leslie Frazier on the off chance he doesn't land a head coaching job.
Bill Polian - Nobody in the middle to stop the run, Bill. Who am I supposed to blame for that, Bill? If we don't have the cap room to go after a free agent because Marvin is pulling down too much cash then restructure that bitch and lets get something done. Our second rounder isn't ont he field and the guy we traded our first for is dinged up too. We wasted the Pitcock pick and we couldn't keep Johnson off the smoke. Sure, you have had your draft moments but you gotta do something to clean up this mess. We gotta start scouting health better, and that means studying a guy's injury history and work out habits. This whole McCargo thing isn't something I would put on your resume, either.

Come on man, I was counting on your to help a brotha out!
Truth be told, it's hard to win futbol games when you can't stop the run. Too bad that trade for McCargo didn't go through. Maybe it's time to get some fatties in the middle of that D.
Thankfully I was busy purchasing and installing a new doorknob and deadbolt while this debacle was going on. I think that just watching the few plays I did, my blood pressure went up 75 points.
Email me, I have an idea.
