Coming into the game today Reds 1B Joey Votto had 4 homers and 14 RBI's on the season. Respectable numbers for an up and coming power hitter. He's not exactly putting fear into your heart before the game but he's someone to keep an eye on if you are looking to help your fantasy baseball team.
Through six innings today he has 3 homers and 4 RBI's lifting his season totals against just the Cubs to 5 homers and 10 RBI's. He still has three innings to pick up another at-bat, or two.
I have him as the UTIL guy in my ESPN league and he's been ok for me. He just grounded out but with the way the Cubs are pitching today he may have another shot at #4.
