For those of you who will be sitting at home watching the NFL Draft this weekend and need someone to talk to about the picks because your wife doesn't know the difference between Jake Long, Chris Long and third and long....head over to Arin It Out where The GM will be hosting a live interactive blog where he can talk with his readers during the draft. I can assure you that none of his sentences will run as long as the one I just typed. I believe the interactive blog is run by the same machine that allowed Ben to travel from The Island to the desert last night on Lost. So things could get freaky. Especially if people start showing up with wounds on their arms and cold breath.
I spent the NFL Draft last season with Bruce Paine and The GM and I can confirm that they have extreme knowledge of the draft and everything that happens during it. Also, The GM very well could be drunk during the blog so that should be interesting.
I'll be out of town taking part in a bachelor party with Cpt. Morgan but I'll be with you guys in spirit. Actually, I'll probably be gambling and staring at (women's) boobs but I didn't want to make you guys jealous. As long as my Cowboys take Felix Jones with their first pick I'll be a happy man.
I'm hoping the pot smoking cornerback from Kansas falls to them at 21. Even if Pacman gets paroled - he still hasn't played in a year. And he seems to spend most of his offseason outside the gym and in strip clubs.
Hopefully they can still get Jones at 28 ( or Stewart if Jones is gone), then get a Doucet type in the 2nd. If both backs are gone at 28, maybe Jackson from Cal is there and go rb in the 2nd like Ray Rice.
Love the draft. Hate Chris Berman and his need to announce picks before the commish. I want Emmitt to have a large presence tomorrow and say many foolish things.
Love bachelor parties as well. Got one tomorrow with the start at our new sucky minor league team in town (Iron Pigs) and then hopefully boobies.
