For those of you who missed it yesterday, I set out wondering why Red Sox OF Jacoby Ellsbury was such a hot commodity on trade market. After some research I found out that his minor league numbers matched up with those of Kansas City OF David DeJesus, a good player, but hardly one that teams are clamoring over. I still feel that Ellsbury's market value is inflated because of his spot on the Red Sox, but Red Sox fans in the comments section still felt that I was undervaluing Ellsbury. Sure enough, I get home from playing basketball tonight and I have these two wonderful PhotoShop creations by valued commenters Erin and Jeremiah. Very well done Red Sox fans, very well done. I still feel the same way, but I'm willing to lay off of Ellsbury for the time being....
