FoxSports.com Fantasy Football Is Retarded

Nearly two months ago I told you guys about my issues with FoxSports.com Fantasy Football set-up. Since that time it seems that everyone in our league had figured out how to work the system....games end on Monday, scores updated by Wednesday, players available hopefully on Thursday. It was a crappy system, but at least it was consistently crappy so we could figure out how to work around it. Well, with the end of the Fantasy Football Regular Season upon us....we ran into more issues, such as these:

1. Our Fantasy Football Playoffs were supposed to run during Weeks 13, 14 and 15 of the NFL Season. Since FoxSports didn't update the league until Tuesday....and then screwed up the league schedule then.....and then didn't know how to fix it.....and then said to send it help tickets.....no one knew what the Hell was going on. The schedule said we were playing a regular season game, so most of us prepared as such....Turns out, we were actually playing a playoff game. Now, that didn't matter much to me since my team is running over squads left and right, but there were some upsets, only no one knew until yesterday (a week late) that the playoffs started.

2. So, now we are on Week 2 of the playoffs....I think. I don't know because I can't get on the damn website! Not because my work is blocking it....because the website is down. Does ESPN.com ever go down? No. Bastards. I have no idea who I'm playing this week, no idea what players I need to pick up...it goes on and on and on.

3. The explanations coming back from FoxSports are horrid and untimely. That's not good business. Period.

Now, I want FoxSports.com to have a great Fantasy Football set-up because it's the only one I am allowed to view at work but I'm not the commissioner of our league. Although, if our commish storms the FoxSports.com Headquarters with guns blazing, like it seems like he's ready to, I might be next in line, I'm not sure.

If any of you are using FoxSports.com, I feel sorry for you because football isn't as fun as it could be. For those of you who are using Yahoo! or a system that works...I don't like you.

Is it a pay site? If not, you get what you pay for. CBS Sportsline is really good and even last they had a week with some screwups (which did not affect our leagues) but they gave us this year at half price.

That being said, there are still some problems with scoring errors. Unfortunately we have one this week as they gave too many points to a team. They usually correct by Tuesday evening so it should work out.

I don't understand why it's so difficult for them to do it correctly. We are playing for free, but I will still complain

I've used cbssportsline as a pay site before for my baseball leagues... it's really solid. I haven't had any problems that I can think off, other than one year a while back we ran into a problem with the online draft.

I use Yahoo for the free stuff (basketball mostly). Again, no real problems ever. I've never done a football league (I know, weird), but my point is... f*ck Fox. F*ck Rupert Murdoch. Use something else next year!
