I'll come back later to talk about the A-Rod shenanigans and the Patriots need to run up the score on everyone. Until then, enjoy this little video about the Red Sox sweeping the Rockies last night and wrapping up the World Series.
The Red Sox were the best team in baseball all year long, so it was only fitting that they closed it out on top. They have a blend of veterans and youth that enable them to be diverse in how they play the game and their outlook on the game. Kudos to their front office for putting together a team that will soon be, it it's not already, the blueprint for every large market team out there.
Mike Lowell was the MVP as he played like Brooks Robinson not only during the World Series, but during the entire season. I look forward to seeing how production Jacoby Ellsburry and Dustin Pedroia can be in the coming years as they look to be hovering over the top of that vaunted Red Sox lineup for years to come.
