I'll have more on Monday after I've settled down a bit, but the season is over for the Cubs. The Diamondbacks did everything the Cubs were supposed to do and that's why they won. They came in, pushed the Cubs around and left a beaten team in their dust. The Cubs put up very little fight in this series and that is the most discouraging part. They were beaten in every aspect of the game time and time again. I believe now, more than ever, that the Cubs do not have the requisite leaders in their clubhouse to help lead this team through a deep playoff run. I guess that probably coincides with my growing dislike for Derrek Lee....So, like I said, more on Monday.

This sucks. I like the Cubs, Phils and Yankees, and it doesn't look good for anyone.
And what happened to Soriano? He just disappeared this series.
There goes my WS NL representative. Sorry, JC.
About the only ones who showed up for this series were Carlos Zambrano and Bob Howry....not a good three games for the Cubbies.
Bob Ley got a poke in on the Sunday AM Sportscenter. He made a comment about how well rested Zambrano is today. Pretty rough for a long-time SC anchor to punch below the belt like that.
Yeah, I'm going to have more on that on Monday....lots of stuff to read online on Sunday morning.
Absolutely a pathetic performance by the Cubs. As for Soriano, his career postseason stats are not good and once again he went with his career trend. He has a .225 batting avg and only 4 HR in 41 career postseason games.
At least you made the playoffs. And your failure only took a week. Compare that to 3 weeks for Mets fans and 10 years for DRays fans.
Aaron Fultz should be the new shooter of the month... he would have made Rod Beck happy last night with his pitching mechanics
