 Buck Rampage and I are going to be hitting the road this weekend for a road trip to Wrigley Field to watch the much anticipated match-up between good and evil the Cubs and Cardinals. Buck is a Cardinals fan.....I am a Cubs fan. He will be wearing his vintage 1988 Pedro Guerrero Jersey (with jheri curl and 'stache) and I will be wearing my Cubs hat and t-shirt. It will be his first visit to Wrigley.....I've been there many times.
Ok, that nearly put me to sleep, but it had to be done. We are heading up there this weekend for the game on Saturday and on Monday when we sober up we are going to post a recap for you guys....with pictures...from the point of view of a Cubs fan and a Cardinals fan. Not only that though, I'm going to give you guys a complete rundown of everything that happens over the weekend as Rampage certainly will go Cougar hunting again while I sit at the bar and egg him on. Also, other things that will be happening this weekend include: 1) Me talking Buck into running on the field, 2) Me mercilessly screaming at Rick Ankiel if we sit in the right field bleachers, 3) Buck blacking out on Saturday night and waking up in Aisle 2 of a White Hen Pantry on Sunday morning, 4) Buck harassing cab drivers so much that it leads to arrest, 5) Buck starting a fight.
As far as actual baseball information, we all know what the deal is with the Cubs and the Cardinals. The Cubs are struggling and the Cards are streaking. So much so, that by the end of their four game series on Monday....the Cardinals could have leap frogged the Cubs in the NL Central. As you can see, this is going to be a very intense, hard fought series.

2008 Cubs Preview

I can't watch another game - thank goodness it's during work hours today. I want to be alive for my kids college graduation. If this continues any longer, I may be forced to drink myself to death.

1) If I'm going to black out at a White Hen, make sure I'm at the one on the corner of Clark and Armitage. That's my favorite one.
2) I'm not running on the field unless a Cub pisses off Aaron Miles till the point of murderous rage. I don't wish his wrath on anybody.
3) I'll be cheering louder for Ankiel than you will be harrassing him.
4) I've already been kicked out of a cab in Chi-town, on New Year's Eve, somewhere on the northwest side. Been there, done that.
5) The only fight will be between me and some ferocious Cougar that doesn't know what she got herself into.
yeah, after he painted his chest for the womens game he did hers. She made him wear the cheerleading costume she wore while singing rocky top during the mens game. They're sick up/down there in Appalachia.
yeah - your previous exploits with cougars notwithstanding, I'm sure the thirty/forty somethings are waiting with baited breath for your next Deuce Bigalo like move.
I've just been notified that all the pre-made Ham & Cheese sandwiches in Chicagoland White Hen's have been put on notice the Buck will be on a rampage.....see how I did that? Very smooth
Question (since I haven't been visiting this site very long): Is Buck just really into Cougars, or is he turning to Cougars because things haven't worked out with ladies his own age? Buck - Chicago is full of attractive young girls (I think - actually I have no idea if that's true), hook up with one of them; they're generally the ones who are attracted to really drunk guys who fight with cabbies anyway.

I'm not really into Cougars. Last week was my first experience with them. Just having fun with the whole ordeal. I would pick a young woman over an old woman any day of the week. But, that's not as fun to talk about.
By the way, Chicago IS full of gorgeous young women.
Ah, but not like New York.
New York is ahead of Chicago when it comes to hot girls, yes...but they have so many more people in the city. Plus, it's a totally different type of hot girl when it comes to personality, style, charisma, etc....That needs to be said as well.
Just depends on what you like, but there are more then enough in both of those great cities.

Chicago has nice girls. NYC has women.
On the cougar thing... now that I approach 30 myself, it no longer matters, but for most of my 20's I dated or messed with women who had just turned 30. Do they qualify as cougars? I would think not, especially not by NYC-standards (30 year olds are very likely to still be single), but a second opinion from the experts is always nice.

Hmmm...I think I may need to leave the neighborhood for the weekend. I live in Lakeview, and a weekend of Cubs & Cardinals fans may be too much to handle.
Having grown up outside of Chicago for 23 of my 28 years, then having lived in New York City for the other 5, I can't help feel that I am an expert on this subject...
The women/ladies/girls in NYC, simply put are much more "business" like, in job, style, and relationships-they are like their baseball team the Yanks, and their stadium. Despite having a lot of history, and wealth, they are serious about winning, and will stop at nothing to achieve that(or atleast that is what they think)...The women/ladies/girls from Chicago are much more "fan-friendly." They are like a new ball park; accessible, open, welcoming, inviting, and certainly more approachable(and ultimately end up taking home the trophy at the end of the season without breaking the bank)...

While we rate cities by beautiful women, let's include Montreal, San Diego, and Atlanta. Definitely DC as well.
As the host for this heated rivalry of a road trip I have to say that I'm excited at the opportunity to serve witness.
Since my beloved White Sox are terrible this will at least give me something exciting to watch.
I would like to add a secret place of gorgeous women...Miami, Ohio. This University has some of the most gorgeous/beautifullest (real word! Just kidding, I know it is not a real word) females in the Midwest. Did I mention the campus is in the middle of nowhere?!
