For those of you who don't know why I'm doing this:
I usually do a post on cool blogs to read from time to time with links involved. Instead of doing that for the time being I'm going to introduce you to new sites that are written by ladies. Why? Because, believe it or not, a lot of times guys don't read these sites just because they are written by the ladies. I'm hopeful that you go check out these sites as I write about them because they are good sites with a lot of quality content.
I think you need a little more info before I officially begin. The sites I write about are chosen based on the writing and the quality of the content. Nothing more. This isn't a popularity contest and this isn't a contest to see who's the hottest. I want to make that clear. I won't be posting pics of these ladies and I won't be linking to pics of these ladies. The point of this is to bring quality content to more and more people because people should be reading these sites. Next, these aren't presented in any particular order. I have a list, it's not numbered and I'm just going to go down the list.
Who I'm Reading: Leave the Man Alone
Who's Writing There: I did some searching and I couldn't find a name. I did find some info though. After reading that I think I may have run into her once in the fitness center of a hotel while watching a basketball game on the treadmill.
What They Write About: A little bit of everything. NFL, NBA, Atlanta-based sports news. Really good rundowns of what is happening with Mike Vick.
What I'm Reading There: I get most of my Mike Vick info from this site. She's in the area and I'd prefer to hear what's happening locally instead of hearing some talking head at ESPN make stuff up.
Why You Should Check It Out: The voice of the site is really fresh and original. The writing is good because it speaks to you on a level that makes it easy to understand, especially when it comes to complex situations (Vick, Pacman Jones).
What They Don't Do: There isn't a rundown of the scores from the day before or anything like that. It's not the kind of site that is giving you someone else's manufactured box score or statistics. It's about personal feelings and opinion's here, nothing made up or pre-manufactured.

2008 Cubs Preview
LTMA is really high on my list of female bloggers. She writes clearly and passionately and can be very witty. Although, I must admit I am occasionally tempted to sing "LTMA and TO, sitting in a tree" under my breath when I read the blog. :-p Yes, I'm mature.
Yep, I'm right there with you. I also get a chance to randomly drop out of the sky and compliment her on a particular article because she shows up on my gmail chat.

She does an excellent job of writing some good stuff over there. Hopefully she'll get another reader or two from this
HCIC (the common acronym for the writer of LTMA) is absolutely one of the best bloggers out there, female or otherwise. She can write seriously about complicated issues, and still be entertaining.
Props to her.
Keep these posts coming Jack Cobra, though I do fear that you will run out of decent female bloggers too quickly....
You should see this list I have. It's handwritten so that I can burn it when I'm done. I have plenty more on the way. I nearly posted another one today but decided against it.
Sadly for you (and the female bloggers), Jack Cobra, I'm making my own list AND checking it twice.
Awwwww... I haven't teared up this much since I read the Vick indictment.
