Sorry for my absence, I just returned from the funeral of a family member. Funerals are an interesting act in the play that is human life. This funeral was for my Aunt and it showed me the importance of friends for a couple of reasons....One, she had a lot of friends show up to spend time with her while she battled Cancer and they were all there these past few days. Two, it will take the help of friends and family to help her Son, Daughter and Husband make it through this rough stretch. Her Son, my cousin, reads this site.....so this one is dedicated to the memory of his mother, my Aunt Marcy. She was the funniest woman I knew and one of the nicest.
Just like in life.....there is a need for friends around these here Internets. Following are the friends of our site. I encourage you to check out their sites often. Oh! Turns out I lost the hottest blogger bracket thing to Paul Shirley. Thanks to everyone who voted for me though, I only lost by like 50 votes and it looked like I made a run there at the end. Onto the links!

Jacky my boy,
I haven't written about Verlander's No-No because I think it's a little too "hacky" to write about one great thing when I haven't even introduced myself as a legitimate read among the Tigers followers.
I have a Verlander post primed and ready to go, I just am waiting for his next start to release it.
Thanks for the link. I was surprised that you managed to get that close, although maybe it was no surprise at all to the Cobra ego, ha. Either way, nice run in the tourney!
I'm not going to publicly comment on the tourney, how it was set up or how the seedings were apparently pointless from the beginning.
first time reader, thought the philisophy about the article was right on the head. I will continue to be a reader of your article.
Justin Verlander post is up.

thanks Shaun, it was good seeing you again. Practice up for the 29th!!!
